Position Overview and Responsibilities

The Residential Solar Installer will be tasked with assembling and installing solar PV modules to roofs or other structures according to site assessments and schematics. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving any deficiencies in PV system electrical circuits, following building standards and codes when installing panels and support structures, and performing electrical wiring of solar arrays/systems (DC and AC) around residential applications including roofs, attics, and walls.

Essential Position Attributes

Success in this position will be measured by the number of successful installations, compliance with safety and building codes, the resolution rate of electrical issues, and installation time per project.
