Position Overview and Responsibilities

The Solar Electrician will be responsible for installing photovoltaic (PV) systems, interconnecting inverters and other AC components, and installing module array interconnect wiring. They will also test and commission equipment, program, adjust, or configure inverters and controls, and perform routine PV system maintenance. Additionally, the Solar Electrician will activate PV systems and communicate effectively with customers and staff regarding the status of each job.

Essential Position Attributes

The KPIs for this role include the number of PV systems installed and commissioned, the accuracy and efficiency of installations, customer satisfaction and feedback, and the timeliness in completing installations and maintenance.
